Pete Backof, Analyst

Pete Backof is an analyst at the Analyst Institute. He received his master's in social science research from the University of Chicago, with a concentration in political science. At Chicago he wrote his master's thesis on the misperception of Barack Obama's religion, analyzing survey data under the supervision of Profs. Betsy Sinclair and Boris Shor. Prior to joining the Analyst Institute Pete worked as an editor and broadband public policy researcher. He is a graduate of Dickinson College, where he completed his undergraduate work in political science and writing.
